Easyjet Damaged, Delayed and Lost Baggage Information

You must advise a member of easyJet ground handling staff at the airport of arrival immediately.

You are strongly advised to take out your own insurance to cover the value of your baggage and its contents, particularly if you are carrying important or valuable items.

It is their policy that if your baggage is delayed for more than 24 hours on your outbound trip, you can spend up to GBP 25 per day per person on essential items, for a maximum of three days. To claim this allowance you must write to their claims handling agents within 21 days of the relevant flight at the address provided to you by the easyJet handling agent at the airport where the delay was reported. All claims must be supported by documentary evidence of purchases made (e.g. receipts).
